Responding to climate change costs money. The UNFCCC estimates that adaptation alone will cost up to $166 billion every year. It seems likely that the funding needed to deal with climate change will not always be available to individuals or communities. Decisions will be made locally, nationally and internationally about which areas are supported through climate change crises and which are not. This web site is dedicated to helping make those decisions as wisely as possible.
