New post-IPCC AR4 estimates of sea-level rise

Latest estimates of sea-level rise package released to Australian government 24 Sept 2008. The Antarctic Climate and Ecosystems Co-operative Research Centre (ACE CRC) has this morning released its package of the latest sea-level rise materials. Program leader Dr John Church presented the package at Science over Breakfast in Canberra today on behalf of ACE CRC. The package represents a significant body of analysis and interpretation of sea-level rise, from the science of sea-level rise to policy and local planning implications. It provides:
• Position Analysis: climate change, sea-level rise and extreme events - impacts and adaptation issues; and a
• Briefing: a post-IPCC AR4 update on sea-level rise.
